When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo through Clerk, our third-party authentication provider. We do not store your password — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Content You Submit

We collect the text, notes, and other content you paste into the Service for the purpose of generating study guides, flashcards, and quizzes. This content is transmitted to Google Gemini AI for processing and is stored in our Convex database associated with your account.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, time spent, browser type, device type, IP address, and referring URLs.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full credit card number — only metadata such as the last four digits, card brand, and billing status provided by Stripe.

• Process your submitted notes through AI to generate study materials
• Manage your account, subscription, and billing through Stripe

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your submitted notes to train our own AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

• Convex — Our database provider. Your generated study guides and associated data are stored on Convex infrastructure. See Convex's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all billing and subscription management. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini AI — Content you submit for processing is sent to Google's Gemini API for AI generation. Google processes this data per their API terms. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — Hosting and deployment infrastructure.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and generated study materials for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records which may be retained for up to 7 years for tax compliance).

Usage logs and analytics data are retained for up to 12 months.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. Clerk sets authentication cookies necessary for the Service to function.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some parts of the Service may not function properly without cookies.
